Police are advising road blocks are in place following a serious crash in Kaingaroa in the Far North.
The two-vehicle crash was reported to Police at around 12.30pm.
Initial indications suggest critical injuries.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect lengthy delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
