Police and emergency services are attending a serious crash on State Highway 1, Puhoi, north of Auckland.
Police were called to the crash involving a vehicle and a truck shortly before 10am.
Initial reports are that three people are injured.
State Highway 1 is currently blocked while emergency services attend the scene and it is expected to be closed for some time.
Diversions are in place at Woodcocks Road and Puhoi Road.
Motorists are advised to expect significant delays and avoid the area if possible.
A further update will be provided once it becomes available.
