Police can advise earlier closures at both ends of State Highway 16 have now lifted.
Two separate incidents resulted in closures near Whenuapai and Grafton.
The truck driver in this morning’s crash, near Whenuapai, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police extend our condolonces to the family of the person who has died near Grafton this afternoon.
