New Zealand Police is pleased to announce that recruits from Wing 373 will be graduating from their initial training course on Thursday morning, 22 February, in front of whānau and friends.

Attending the ceremony will be Commissioner Andrew Coster and the Police executive, a representative from the Police Minister’s Office, and Wing Patron Caroline Flora, Chief Censor at Te Mana Whakaatu.

Caroline Flora says: “It has been an honour and a privilege to be a part of Wing 373’s journey as their patron. This Thursday, we honour their commitment to a career that will be challenging but also profoundly rewarding. They have shown they are up for it.

“I had the pleasure of witnessing their training at the Royal New Zealand Police College, and I have enormous confidence in the calibre of new Police coming through.”

Our six prize winners are spread across three policing jurisdictions: Counties Manukau, Central and Canterbury districts.

More details about statistics, prize winners and other recruits will be shared on graduation day.

Media are welcome to attend the graduation parade, which takes place at Te Rauparaha Arena, Main Arena, 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua.

The ceremony starts at 10am and media are asked to be in place by 9.30am.

Media wishing to attend the graduation are asked to RSVP by emailing the Police Media Centre at media@police.govt.nz.
