Police remain committed to bringing a resolution to the family of Jayden Mamfredos-Nair, as enquiries into his disappearance continue.

Jayden has been missing since 21 April 2023 and Police continue to treat his disappearance as a homicide enquiry.

Detective Inspector Callum McNeill, Waitematā CIB, says Police are today executing a search warrant at an address in Dairy Flat in the hopes of locating Jayden’s body.

“New information had led the investigation team to an address on Young Access Road, which is currently occupied by members of the Headhunters gang.

“There will be an increased number of Police in the Dairy Flat area while this search warrant is conducted.

“However, we can confirm there is no risk to the public in relation to this.”

Police are continuing to appeal for information on Jayden’s disappearance.

“It has now been almost six months since Jayden was reported missing and we know that there are people in our community who know what happened to him,” Detective Inspector McNeill says.

“As time goes on and allegiances change, we urge those with information to come forward anonymously.

“It’s time to tell us where he is so he can be returned to his grieving whānau.”

The investigation team continue to work long hours to resolve this crime and bring Jayden home.

“We are confident of making arrests in the near future,” Detective Inspector McNeill says.
