Police can now release the names of the people who died in a crash on Domett Road (State Highway 1) on 26 April.
They were Zejayohn Keyli-West Hurinui, 24, of Cheviot, and Anthony Thomas Wood, 69, of Methven.
Police extends its condolences to their family and friends at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash ongoing.
