Police are responding to a three-vehicle crash on Ngati Maru Highway, near Totara Valley Road around 2pm.
It appears one person has serious injuries and one person has moderate injuries.
A helicopter is enroute.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
