Emergency services are currently attending a serious two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Moeraki Boulders Road and Hampden-Palmerston Road, Hampden.
Police were called about 5.15pm.
Initial reports suggest there have been injuries.
The road is currently closed, with no detour available.
Police advise motorists to delay travel and avoid the area, or expect delays.
