Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of Suntahna Kruz Pu, who has a number of warrants to arrest.

Pu is from Hamilton and is believed to still be in the area.

If seen, Pu should not be approached. He is currently evading Police.

The most recent warrants to arrest were issued after Pu failed to appear in the Hamilton District Court on Thursday 1 February.

He was due to appear alongside a 33-year-old woman on charges of using a firearm against Police and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The woman is due to reappear in the Hamilton District Court on Thursday 2 March.

On 19 December 2022, the pair are alleged to have fired a shot at Police.

The pair have been linked to those involved in a range of robberies across Hamilton, Te Awamutu and Cambridge in the same month.

Police have arrested eight young people in relation to the robberies. Three of those arrested are under 18 and are being dealt with through youth services, five of those arrested are facing charges in the courts.

Enquiries into this offending is ongoing and more arrests are likely.
