Otago Polytechnic is preparing to host its 2021-2022 Distinguished Alumni Awards on Friday 4 November.
Previous winners of Distinguished Alumni Awards have included a wide range of visionary health professionals, entrepreneurs, international sports representatives and acclaimed artists.
And the latest event, which spans a two-year period because of Covid-related disruptions in 2021, again recognises a plethora of passionate people.
The 13 nominees range from fashionista Jessie Wong, founder of international leather goods label Yu Mei; to acclaimed international artist Gabby Malpas; to community movers and shakers such as Deborah Manning, founder of KiwiHarvest and the New Zealand Food Network; to health sector educators and experts, an award-winning chef, a sports analyst and others.
The 2021-2022 Distinguished Alumni Awards will be held at Otago Polytechnic’s Hub, Forth St, Dunedin, on Friday 4 November.
