Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on SH 3, Tariki.
The crash, involving two vehicles, was reported around 2pm.
Initial indications suggest there are serious injuries and people are trapped in both vehicles.
The road is blocked and motorists are advised to avoid the area or use an alternative route.
