Police are continuing to investigate the aggravated robbery of a Kawerau ATM that took place yesterday morning.
The vehicle mentioned in an earlier statement has been located, however Police would still like to hear from anyone who saw that vehicle prior to this incident or any information about that vehicle.
Police understand that an incident like this is very unsettling and concerning for the Kawerau community.
We want to reassure Kawerau residents that we are working hard to identify and locate the person responsible.
We continue to ask for anyone with information which could assist our enquiries – including dashcam footage – to get in touch via 105 and quote event number P051814857.
