Police can confirm a cyclist has died following the earlier serious crash in Te Aroha.
The crash, reported to Police at 11am, was near the intersection of Waiorongomai Road and Te Aroha-Gordon Road.
Initial reports indicated the crash involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, however it involved a cyclist and a vehicle.
The road is expected to be open soon.
