Serious Crash in Naenae

Emergency services are in attendance at a serious crash at the intersection of Cambridge Terrace and Fisk Street in Naenae.

Police were called to a two vehicle collision shortly before 9am. Two people have been injured in the crash.

One person is in a critical condition and has been taken to Wellington Hospital. The other has been taken to Lower Hutt Hospital.

The road is closed and Police advise motorists to expect delays and avoid the area if at all possible.

The Serious Crash Unit will examine the scene and an investigation will commence into the crash.
