An investigation is underway following a fatal crash in Manawatū on Tuesday evening.
Police were notified of a two-vehicle crash on Rangitikei Line at Newbury, shortly before 8.30pm.
The driver of one vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified and enquiries are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
