Police can now release the name of the man who died following a serious crash on Oxford Road, Fernside, on Saturday 28 November.
He was DaWen Li, 66, of Christchurch.
Police extend their sympathies to his family and friends.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
