Three arrested in relation to Darfield dairy burglary

Three people have been arrested following a dairy burglary in Darfield early today.

Police were alerted to a minor crash on the outskirts of Darfield shortly before 5am.

Inside the vehicle were confectionary items thought to have been stolen from a local dairy a short time earlier.

The occupants of the vehicle were arrested and charged with burglary.

Two youths are due to appear in Youth Court today while a 23-year-old man is expected to appear in Christchurch District Court.
