Clickthrough Focuses on Speed with New Website

0

Source: Press Release Service – Auckland

Clickthrough has been providing cutting-edge search marketing services since 2009, with emphasis on helping New Zealand websites and eCommerce stores achieve sustainable results. Wanting to make sure they can create websites that deliver results, they have been working hard behind the scenes to make their website more user-friendly.

According to Clickthrough Chief Motivator Glen Maguire, the Clickthrough website needed to walk the talk by providing a better and faster website experience for mobile browsers in anticipation of Google’s Core Web Vitals update in June 2021.

“A Conversion Ratio Optimisation (CRO) review of our website in March highlighted a few key usability snags that were hindering users from finding what they were looking for. For example, the website was loading way too slow for smartphone users, which is also crucial for organic search rankings. We knew we had to act quickly, as Google is releasing a major update in June 2021, which will penalise sites that have a slow load speed.”

“We completed our website’s transition in May, and we’re delighted with the results we’ve been seeing. The site now regularly achieves a load speed of over 90% for both mobile and desktop browsers. Before the relaunch, we were achieving a sub 30% score on mobile. We’re also happy with the initial boost in organic rankings we are achieving with the new site.”

Clickthrough wishes to lead by example, showing new and existing customers the importance of fast load speeds, especially with such an important update on the way. If you would like to know more about Clickthrough’s search marketing services, or you’re interested in learning how they can help prepare your website for Google’s pending Core Web Vitals update, contact Clickthrough Digital today. Gloworm introduce their 2nd Generation of MTB Lights

0

Source: Press Release Service

Ten years ago, the world was a much different place. The 26-inch wheel was still a thing and dropper posts were few and far between. Oh, how things have changed. The last decade in mountain biking has seen rapid innovation, world-class engineering and much change.

Gloworm Lights have been there throughout this rapid accent – literally along for the ride.
The lovechild of two Kiwi riders, eager to create better MTB lighting solutions, Gloworm lights have grown into an internationally recognized brand. Now, 10 years after they first illuminated trails for riders around the world, Gloworm are launching their second generation of MTB lights the G2.0 range.

The G2.0 range has been engineered to reflect the MTB industry now and into the future. Almost every part of the bike is now interchangeable and malleable to the specific preferences of the rider – two rigs are rarely identical. It is this concept of individualized riding that is at the heart of G2.0.

Gloworm G2.0 – A new generation of MTB lighting

Designed and engineered in New Zealand, and manufactured in Gloworm’s own dedicated assembly facility, the G2.0 range maintains the sleek minimalist aesthetic of the previous generation but with a boatload of powerful improvements.

An OLED display on the power pack lets you know exactly how many hours of lighting you have remaining. You can choose to conserve battery life by turning the light down and the remaining battery time will adjust accordingly, in real-time. Snag-proof USB-C power cables now attach the light to the battery packed and are designed to safely detach in the event of a crash.

When you do need to recharge, the G2.0 range has a fast-charging power pack that charges 3x faster than previous models.

Adjusting your lights mid-ride is as easy as a single press of the TX Bluetooth remote. For further customization, including optics and beam pattern, there is the new Gloworm link mobile app.

The mobile app allows you to individualize light settings for your favourite trails. Additionally, riders can create multiple lighting profiles, and comfortably switch through these as trails and terrain vary. Firmware updates occur automatically, through the app which means your lights are always up to date with the latest innovations in trail lighting.

The G2.0 range is built to suit all kinds of riders. Whether you want to simply pull it out of the box and hit the trail, or tinker with lighting settings for different trails and conditions, the

G2.0 range is a powerful, dynamic lighting solution designed to seamlessly coexist with your bike setup.

Fully waterproof and built to last, Gloworm’s are backed by a two-year warranty and are available in 5 different models, ranging from 2000 to 3600 lumens.

Taking Back the Night

As winter approaches and daylight hours diminish, you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your time on the trail. The next generation of Gloworm lights are for the riders to reclaim the night. It is designed to suit all riding styles, trails and preferences. Your gear should never inhibit the flow of your ride. The new generation of Gloworm helps you spend less time worrying about visibility and more time enjoying the trail.

Source: Press Release Service – New Zealand

Pultron Composites is delighted to announce the signing of a strategic alliance with US Fortune 500 company, Owens Corning as the sole distributor of MATEENBAR™ Fiberglas™ Rebar in North America.

Pultron set up Mateenbar Limited as a separate company in 2020 and continues to be a majority owner and key R&D and technology partner to Mateenbar, supplying specialist equipment, technical expertise, and research and development.

MATEENBAR™ Fiberglas™ Rebar is a more durable alternative to steel rebar. Rebar refers to the bars that are used to provide additional support to reinforced concrete structures widely used in civil infrastructure projects.

The demand for sustainable infrastructure is increasing, as civil engineers and government agencies are seeking new technologies to achieve longer lasting and carbon-friendly infrastructure. It is better for the environment and the public purse.

Owens Corning is the world’s largest manufacturer of fibreglass composites and a key figure in the building and infrastructure industry. The collaboration with Owens Corning will drive new sales and increase awareness of fibreglass rebar technology.
Mateenbar USA Inc. will produce Mateenbar™ exclusively for Owens Corning for the United States, Canada and Mexico from Mateenbar’s all-new manufacturing facility in North Carolina (USA). The North Carolina factory is a 110,000sq ft site fitted out with state-of-the-art pultrusion manufacturing equipment designed and engineered by Pultron.
Mateenbar™ has been used in major construction projects worldwide and certified in over 2,500 independent, 3rd party lab tests. Pultron continues to manufacture Mateenbar™ for the Oceania market and is experiencing growing interest from this region.

The President of Owens Corning Composites, Marcio Sandri, said: “Mateenbar Ltd has built an undisputed product leadership globally in the concrete reinforcement market and we are incredibly proud to bring this world-class product to the United States market for our partners at the federal and state departments of transportation, to enable more durable and longer lasting concrete structures.”

Pultron CEO, Jasper Holdsworth states, “Owens Corning’s deep application knowledge in this emerging market, together with the high-volume fibreglass rebar and post-processing technologies that we use to make Mateenbar™, will be a tremendous combination. We are excited to be working with such an iconic company with an outstanding international reputation.”

EROAD helps Williams & Wilshier claim their biggest off-road RUC rebate to date

0

Source: Press Release Service

Williams & Wilshier’s fleet of 60 trucks and 25 light vehicles has had EROAD telematics installed for nine years, primarily for the benefits of Roader User Charges (RUC) administration, given the substantial off-road mileage that their drivers accumulate. As they’ve continued to grow, these savings have multiplied, both in terms of money back and time and money saved by processing claims automatically online.

“Before we had EROAD, one of our three office admins would manually process our RUC off-road claims,” says Jason Williams, general manager. “It took her seven to eight working days every month.”

Office staff had to manually check off-road lead distances against forest-map entry and exit points to calculate the number of off-road Ks a truck had done on each trip. This had to be done for every vehicle in the fleet, including light vehicles that use diesel.

On 1 July 2020, road user charges for light vehicles increased from $72 per 1000km to $76, the third such increase in the last three years, with past rises in September 2018 and July 2019. Being able to reliably and automatically tally off-road “micro distances,” such as around ports and logging sites, has enabled Williams & Wilshier to claim significantly higher refunds to offset these increases.

“In July 2020, we did 105,000Ks off-road and the rebate was $60,700” reports Williams. And that’s just one of many months where Williams and Wilshier’s rebates were in the vicinity of $50K.

New 100% Pure Merino Range Available For Year-Round Wear

0

Source: Press Release Service

Ecowool is pleased to announce they are now stocking a 100% pure merino wool range, available now at ecowool.com. It joins new possum merino products for the current season.

According to Ecowool spokesperson Karen Collyer, the new range consists of wardrobe staples that are perfect for all year round, such as polo necks, crew necks, jackets, and cardigans.

“We feel investing in quality basics is key to pulling your wardrobe together,” she says.

All garments in the range feature fine rib merino, a lightweight merino to be worn on its own or as a base layer during cooler months with jackets and cardigans. They are also described as being breathable, soft against the skin, sustainable, and biodegradable.

“In the southern hemisphere, winter is fast approaching. The key to staying warm during the cooler months is layering your clothing.”

Layering to remain warm has never been easier, thanks to the natural garment selection that Ecowool has to offer. While their thermal range of undergarments has long been a popular option for base layering, the new merino range offers that convenience, as well.

“If you prefer a more versatile option than our fine merino undergarments, our pure merino range of wardrobe staples can be worn as a base layer or as outerwear throughout the year.”

Karen also recommends pairing the pure merino staples with a knit jacket or sweater featuring possum merino silk. Not only will it provide warmth, but durability, insulation, and odour resistance, too.

You can then tie the entire look together with gloves, a scarf, a beanie, socks, and even sheepskin boots.

“We’re excited about this new 100% pure merino range, but we also can’t wait to share with you the many beautiful natural products we believe will work in harmony with the range.”

Find out more about the new pure merino range by visiting Ecowool.com today.

Tree Care Auckland And Pro Climb Gearing Up For Merger

0

Source: Press Release Service – New Zealand

It has taken months of planning, but managing director Andreas (Rossy) Ross is pleased to announce that the two businesses in Auckland you’ve relied upon for all your tree management and care needs will be merging into one.

Tree Care Auckland and Pro Climb have long provided arborist services, tree care services for commercial and residential customers, and contract tree services for ECEs, councils, and schools. Now, customers will be able to rely on one business for all of these services – and more.

According to Rossy, both commercial and residential customers can still expect the same high-quality service and care they have received from both businesses.

“We’ve thought long and hard about our decision to merge. Both companies have provided a variety of tree care and arborist services, so it was only natural to offer our customers a one-stop-shop. From May 2021, our loyal customers will be able to access their tree care services directly from Pro Climb with our dedicated Pro Climb and Tree Care Auckland team.”

One of the most significant changes to come out of the merger was a new website. Pro Climb and Tree Care Auckland have been busy building a brand new site that incorporates content from both businesses.

“Now, when you visit the Tree Care Auckland site, you will be redirected to Pro Climb. Here, you learn about our all-inclusive tree care services, contract tree services, arborist training, and helpful tree care guides,” Rossy says.

“Our goal is to make tree care easy. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a property owner with a dangerous tree or a council with tree maintenance requirements; we can do it all. We can’t wait to continue providing our loyal current and future customers with a high level of service you’ve come to expect.”

You can learn more about Pro Climb’s offerings by visiting www.proclimb.co.nz.

About Pro Climb
Pro Climb consists of a dedicated team of tree care experts, arboricultural contractors, and consultants who have been providing a wide range of tree care services in Auckland since 2009.

Whether you require arborist services, landscape tree services, tree cutting, emergency tree services, or hedge and shrub care, Pro Climb is the team to call.

Pro Climb also offers arborist training for professionals in Auckland and throughout New Zealand, which incudes aerial rescue training, tree rigging training, tree climbing training, and more.
