The recognition comes hot on the heels after the campaign took out a prestigious global Effie award.
“The Good Morning World campaign is the highest performing campaign that Tourism New Zealand has ever produced by creating long-term brand building and short-term motivation in consumers,” says Tourism New Zealand CEO Stephen England-Hall.
“It stood out on a highly competitive world stage because it was genuine; connecting real, unscripted New Zealanders with the world.”
The campaign, developed by Tourism New Zealand alongside Australian and New Zealand agency Special Group, featured everyday (and a few notable) Kiwis saying ‘Good Morning’ to the world from around New Zealand for an entire year.
