Police are seeking sightings of Junior Simolo as part of an investigation into a firearms incident in Point England.
A warrant to arrest has been issued for the 19-year-old man over the incident on 29 June.
Detective Senior Sergeant Rebecca Kirk, of Auckland City CIB, is appealing for any information on the whereabouts of the man, who is from the Point England area.
“Simolo is considered dangerous, and we urge the public to not approach him,” she says.
“If you see Simolo, call 111 immediately.”
A warrant for arrest has now been granted in relation to serious firearms charges.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts can also contact Police on 105 using the reference number 260629/0371.
