State Highway 1 is closed near Te Hana Reserve after a building fire this evening in Te Hana.
Police were called to the fire at 5.50pm.
The road is closed between Coronation Street and Whakapirau Road, and motorists will be diverted through Mangawhai.
Motorists are advised to delay travel or expect delays.
