Emergency services are attending a serious single-vehicle crash on Broadlands Road, between Ohaaki and Allen Roads, Rotorua.
Police were alerted about 5.55pm.
Initial indications are there have been serious injuries.
The road will be closed, with diversions in place.
Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
