Police Patrol Dog and Customs Detector Dog Graduation Thursday 1 August

New Zealand Police is hosting a graduation for the latest patrol dog course and New Zealand Customs detector dogs course on Thursday 1 August from 10.30am. 

Handlers and their dogs will be celebrating in front of whānau and friends, members of the New Zealand Police executive, executives from Customs New Zealand, members of the Australian Federal Police and the Australian Border Force.

Graduating from Police are ‘Delta’ teams from Eastern, Central, Bay of Plenty and Canterbury Districts.

The New Zealand Customs Officer graduates and their dogs will be deployed to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Media are invited to attend the prizegiving which starts at 10.30am at the Police Dog Training Centre, Dante Road, Trentham.
