Police can now release the name of the victim in the Ōhingaiti homicide investigation.
He was 46-year-old Albert James Coe.
Police would like to extend their condolences to his family, who are being supported at this difficult time.
A 37-year-old man has been charged with murder. Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the death, however inquiries into the exact circumstances of what happened are ongoing.
