Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash that has blocked State Highway 2, Te Puke East Road, in Western Bay of Plenty.
Police were alerted about 4.20pm. The crash involves up to three vehicles and occurred between Wharere Road and Benner Road.
At least one person is believed to have received serious injuries.
Motorists in the area should expect delays.
