Motorists are advised all southbound lanes on the Waikato Expressway, near Meremere, are blocked while emergency services respond to a truck fire.
No injuries have been reported in relation to this.
Police are on scene to provide assistance with traffic management.
Motorists are advised to expect delays, however emergency services are working to reopen lanes as soon as possible.
