One lane is now open following a serious crash on State Highway 1 near Takanini, however motorists can continue to expect delays.
Emergency services are continuing to work at the scene and a further update will be provided when available.
The Papakura on-ramp remains closed and motorists are encouraged to divert through Great South Road.
The Serious Crash Unit is on the scene.
