Dunedin Police are asking motorists to avoid the Kensington area following two incidents this morning.
King Edward Street is closed near the intersection of Wilkie Road after a truck collided with power lines just before 6.30am.
Police and FENZ are also responding to a house fire on Phillips Street, which was reported about 6.40am. South Road is closed between Princess Street and Eglinton Road.
Motorists should avoid the area or expect delays.
