Police are now in a position to release the names of the two people who died following a crash near Temuka on Thursday 5 October.
They were 60-year-old Shane Ronald Davidson, and 26-year-old Stephanie Alexandra Gilbert, both of Temuka.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with their family and friends at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
