Northbound lanes on State Highway 1, near Warkworth, are temporarily being closed due to a car fire.
Emergency services are responding to the fire, which was reported just before 8am.
No injuries have been reported at this stage. Southbound lanes remain open at present.
Police acknowledge the cooperation of motorists while the scene is cleared.
