Police seek information after assault, Napier

Napier Police are appealing for information following an assault that occurred on Taradale Road, near Tom Parker Avenue yesterday.

Police were called at around 7.30pm after an unknown person assaulted someone who was parked on the side of the road.

The victim was uninjured but is understandably shaken by the incident.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the assault or the victim’s vehicle, a purple-coloured Nissan Cube, in the area at the time to come forward.
