Please attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Simon Harrison, Waitematā CIB:

Police have made two arrests as part of investigations into offending at two Auckland businesses in recent days.

The arrests follow an aggravated robbery at a New Lynn petrol station on Tuesday night, and a theft from a Mt Roskill business on Wednesday afternoon.

The two males, aged 14 and 17, are facing numerous charges in the Waitākere Youth Court today.

Those charges include aggravated robbery, theft, intentional damage and unlawfully taking a motor vehicle.

Police continue to work hard to investigate these sorts of incidents and hold those responsible to account.

Further arrests or charges cannot be ruled out. As the matter is before the Court, Police are limited in further comment.

ENDS.
