Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on State Highway 1, Waikato Expressway.
A car and motorbike collided between the Great South Road on-ramp and Pioneer Road off-ramp, at 7.20pm.
The motorcyclist is reported to have serious injuries.
Both southbound lanes have been closed and motorists are asked to take alternative routes where possible.
