One person has died following a two-vehicle crash early this morning at the intersection of Withells Road and Rangitata Highway, Ashburton.
Police were called about 3.45am.
Three other people were seriously injured.
The road remains closed this morning, with diversions in place.
Please avoid the area if possible.
