Police can now confirm one person had died in a serious crash on Glamorgan Drive, Torbay.
Police were alerted to the crash around 6.15pm.
Sadly, one person died at the scene.
One person has been transported to hospital in a critical condition.
The original release said three people were injured in the crash, however this was incorrect.
Police ask motorists to avoid Glamorgan Drive and take an alternate route.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are underway.
