A new Police boat is floating into the Waikato.
Waikato will receive a new Police boat on 20 December, due to the old vessel no longer being fit for purpose.
The new 4.5 metre hull is better equipped and includes features to assist staff on prolonged searches and body recoveries.
The boat is being delivered at the Grantham Street boat ramp at 10am.
