Emergency services are responding to a crash involving multiple vehicles in Ngararatunua this morning.
The crash on Pipiwai Road, which is believed to involve three vehicles, was reported to Police around 8.32am.
One person has received moderate injuries and two people have been transported to hospital in a critical condition.
The Serious Crash Unit are in attendance.
The road is likely to be closed for some time while the scene is cleared.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and to take an alternative route if possible.
