Police advise motorists in Dannevirke to expect delays after an incident where a truck has struck a person.
The incident occurred just after midday, on SH2 near the intersection with Robertshawe Crescent.
One person is being taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services are at the scene.
SH2 is expected to be closed for at least two hours.
Traffic management is in place.
