St Georges Road in Havelock North remains closed following a fatal crash earlier today.
The road is expected to reopen within the next hour (by around 11.30pm).
Police would like to thank residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation as we worked at the crash scene.
Note for media: An earlier alert said this was a three-car crash – that was incorrect, there were two cars involved.
