State Highway 6 has been closed just south of Pelorus Bridge, following a crash involving two vehicles, reported at 1.40pm.
Emergency services are currently responding and it appears that one person has been injured.
No diversions are possible and motorists are advised to expect delays and to avoid the area if possible.
