Ohaupo Road/SH 3 in Ohaupo, south of Hamilton is blocked following a serious crash.
It happened shortly before 4pm between the intersections of Kaipaki Road and West Road, and involved two vehicles.
Indications are there are serious injuries.
Motorists are asked to avoid travel if possible, and follow directions for diversions.
