A pedestrian has sustained critical injuries following a serious crash in Glen Innes this afternoon.
Police are at the scene of the crash involving a vehicle and the pedestrian on Mayfair Place.
The incident was reported around 1.30pm and the pedestrian is being taken to hospital with critical injuries.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash will commence in due course and as part of this the Serious Crash Unit will examine the scene.
