Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on SH 1, Levin.
The two vehicle crash was reported to Police at around 2:45pm.
Initial indications are there are serious injuries.
Emergency services will be closing the road while they attend the scene.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or avoid the area if possible.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
