Emergency services are currently in attendance at a serious crash on SH1 north of Wellsford.
The crash, involving a truck and a car, was reported shortly before 9am.
Sadly, one person has died at the scene.
Another person has received moderate injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
