Emergency services received reports of a collision between a motorcycle and vehicle on Mangawhai Road, near the intersection with Te Arai Point Road, at 2:35pm.
One lane is blocked, and traffic management is in place.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised, and initial indications suggest there are serious injuries.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
