Police can now release the name of the man who died following a crash on State Highway 45, at Oaonui, on 17 January.
He was Andrew Johnathan de Bruyn, 47, of New Plymouth.
Police extend our sympathies to his loved ones.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
