Police are now in a position to release the name of the man killed in a crash on Lewis Pass Road on Sunday 26 December.
The man killed was 62-year-old John Osborne of Rangiora.
Police’s thoughts are with his friends and family at this time.
The circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
