Police have arrested a person following a suspicious death at an address in Te Awamutu on Wednesday 15th December.
The deceased is 48-year-old Raymond Kaea of Kihikihi.
a 19-year-old man has been charged with his murder and has appeared in the Hamilton District Court today.
Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident.
As this matter is before the courts we are not in a position to provide any further comment.
