Anderson Road, Whakatu has reopened after an earlier fatal crash.
Emergency services were notified of the crash, involving a truck and a car, just after 7.30am.
Sadly, one person died following the crash.
The road reopened at around 12:30pm today.
Police would like to thank motorists for their patience while the scene examination took place.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
