Tweed Street in Mount Maunganui, Tauranga is closed following a serious crash this morning.
A motorcycle is reported to have hit a pedestrian at the Tweed Street and Aberdeen Street intersection at around 8:48am.
Indications are two people have suffered moderate to serious injuries.
The road is currently closed while staff examine the scene and traffic management is being put in place.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.
